BLOOD & IRON TACTICAL EVENT

De Leon Springs, Florida

The  Florida Historical Preservation Group  is pleased to host
the BLOOD & IRON
 Tactical Event for  2014.

This all impression European tactical event is set in late 1944 and
is a good location for the infantryman and mechanized cavalry. The
woodland terrain is preserved with paths and strategic
emplacements throughout the battle plan.  This is a primitive site;
water and electricity are limited.

This is NOT a public spectator battle and is open only to participating
WWII  reenactors.
Trackless vehicles are welcome!

WWII COMMEMORATIVE DAY
LIVING HISTORY WEEKEND
February 28th - March 2nd 2014

Dade Battlefield Historic State Park
Bushnell, Florida

The event marks the end of the most widespread conflict in history
and celebrates both military and civilian culture in the 1939-1945
era.  The event features mechanized vehicles, working
communications stations, period vendors, battle reenactment, food
and music, and a USO show for living historians that is second to
none!

Public are welcome and encouraged to attend.                

The date is June, 1944. Allied troops are quickly closing on German General
Von Kessinger's position in France. You are quickly boarded on his train
under the watchful eyes of the feared special police in a last ditch effort to
escape capture! Will the Allies catch the train and the General? Join us for
this exciting World War II re-enactment!

35th ANNUAL
TICO WARBIRD AIR SHOW
March 14, 15, 16  2014.

Titusville, Florida


The Valiant Air Command Airshow will be 14, 15 and 16 March and will be the
37th annual warbird airshow for the VAC. Jammed packed with ground
displays and aerial performances the TICO WARBIRD AIRSHOW 2014 will
make a special tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen and the missions they flew in
their Red Tail P-51 Mustangs to protect our bombers in the European Theater
during WW II. There will be exhibits, displays, vendors, WWII. Korea, and
Vietnam re-enactors, a terrific airshow and plenty to do for the whole family.

The Commander, Lloyd Morris, said, "this year will be bigger and better than
ever; we are working on many unique air acts and attractions."

STUART AIRSHOW

OPERATION COBRA
Breakout from the Bocage
October 2013

Florala, Alabama

The allied offense is bogged down in the rough terrain of the Bocage.  The
German defenders are giving up ground slowly while inflicting heavy
casualties. You are invited to attend a western front battle on a 300 acre site,
complete with forest, open fields, groves, roads, and abandoned buildings.
There will be armor at this event, or site fees will be refunded.

RANGER TRAINING CAMP WEEKEND

SUMMER 2014

The 2nd Ranger Battalion will be hosting a training weekend
for F Company and all interested re-enactors . Topics will
include formation, drill and ceremony, combat tactics,
communications, and various field exercises geared towards  
impression enhancement of the WWII reenactor.
